Job Summary:

Bakan Gizo Pharmacy & Stores is hiring smart, honest, and customer-friendly individuals to work as Retail Cashiers at our new branch located at the LA Mall, Abuja. You will be responsible for handling payments, attending to customers, and keeping the checkout area organised.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide friendly assistance
• Scan and process items using the POS system
• Receive payments (cash, POS, transfers) and issue receipts
• Maintain accurate cash drawer records and balance at the end of each shift
• Keep the checkout counter clean and presentable
• Respond to customer inquiries and guide them as needed
• Report issues such as pricing errors or low stock to supervisors
• Support the sales team to ensure smooth daily operations
• Follow all cash handling and store policies.

Requirements:

• Minimum qualification: SSCE / OND / NCE
• Experience in a similar role is an added advantage
• Good math skills and ability to use a POS machine
• Polite, fast, and detail-oriented
• Must be trustworthy and reliable
• Must be able to work weekends or in shifts
• Must live in or around LA Mall or nearby areas such as Mabushi, Jahi, Wuse, Kado, or Gishiri
